Do I need an appointment?
The Agape Clinic now operates by appointment Monday through Friday. Medical appointments are generally booked three months out, so please call 972-707-7782 in advance to schedule an appointment. Saturday clinic is first come, first served. Patients should arrive well before we open to be seen.
Do you take walk-ins?
The clinic accepts walk-ins for general medical appointments. Specialty medical visits are by appointment only. We cannot guarantee that walk-ins will be seen the day they come in. For the best chance of being seen, please arrive at the clinic by 7:00 a.m. We can begin seeing walk-ins at 7:30. If we are not able to see you, you may be asked to return another day.
Where is the clinic located?
4104 Junius Street, Dallas, Texas 75246, on the corner of Junius & Haskell. Our clinic is in the old Owen's Eye Center building across the street from Grace United Methodist Church.
Where should I park?
You can park on site in the clinic parking lot or in the parking lot of Grace United Methodist Church. Please do not park on the street.
When is the clinic open?
Monday - Friday: 7:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m.
Saturday: 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Evening clinics are scheduled based on provider availability. Please call for a current schedule of evening clinics and specialty offerings.
Who is eligible to be seen at the clinic?
Agape Clinic welcomes anyone in need of medical help, regardless of ability to pay, race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), immigration status, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.
Do I have to pay?
Agape Clinic is a charity medical clinic, and relies solely on donations to fund our operations. We do not charge for services and we do not accept insurance. We do ask patients who are able to make a donation to offset some of our costs. We recommend $25 for general medical appointments and $35 for specialty appointments. We will not turn anyone away because of inability to pay.
What types of medical conditions do you treat?
Agape Clinic provides acute care for ailments such as ear infections and urinary tract infections. We also treat chronic conditions, such as Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. Other services include routine physicals and mental health conditions. Specialty appointments in women's health, allergies and asthma, dermatology, neurology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, counseling services, and occupational therapy are available by appointment only and are dependent on provider availability. For a full list of services, please see our services page.
What if I don't speak English?
We have translators available who speak Spanish. We have other languages available on a limited basis. If you need a translator, please feel free to bring one with you.
How long should I expect my visit to take?
If you have an appointment, you should plan for 30 minutes to 1 hour, though that is a goal and does not always happen. If you are a walk-in, wait times may be lengthy. Please arrive at the clinic by 7 if you would like to ensure you will be seen.
Should I bring anything to my visit?
Name, birth date, list of current medications, and voluntary donation of $25.
I've called, but no one answer the phone. Why?
We are a nonprofit clinic and therefore very busy. If you leave your name and number in our voicemail box, we will return the call as soon as possible. Because we have a high volume of calls, we are only able to return the call once.
Why are other patients being seen before me when I was here before them?
We try our best to see all patients in a timely manner. Emergencies have priority. We will try to see you as soon as possible.
When is food truck?
Food truck is on the second Tuesday and the fourth Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
